If you are visiting the UK from abroad, have run out of your usual medication, or need continuation of an established treatment, Promed Innovations offers a convenient private prescription service without the need to book a full health assessment.

Baseline medication safety bloods with
-Up to 3 months’ prescription :£99
-Up to 6 months’ prescription: £149

The fee includes a brief clinician assessment and, where clinically appropriate, issue of a private prescription. Pharmacy medication costs are separate and are paid directly to the dispensing pharmacy.

What we will need

For safe prescribing, you will be asked to provide evidence of your current medication and relevant medical history. This may include a recent prescription, medication packaging, clinic letter or medical record.

Recent blood-test results may also be required depending on the medication. For medicines requiring kidney-function monitoring, a recent U&E/eGFR result will be required before prescribing.

All prescriptions remain subject to clinical assessment and the doctor’s discretion. In some circumstances, further blood tests, examination or a full consultation may be required before a prescription can safely be issued.

This service is intended primarily for the continuation of established medication and may not be suitable for controlled drugs, medicines requiring specialist supervision, or medications requiring more extensive monitoring.
